Strong winds from a storm in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana caused a train to plummet off the tracks, also shorting out electrical lines nearby.
The train was traveling at 4 MPH at the time, around 10:30 AM CST. According to , a New Orleans ABC affiliate, no one was injured in the crash, and there were no hazardous materials aboard the Union Pacific train. However, footage of the event was captured, just as it slammed into the pavement behind a Raisin' Canes.
Flooding has been reported in the area, with many schools shutting down due to the severe weather. More than 50,000 homes are currently without power.
