WD-40 is a great product, no question about it. The the problem has always been getting the stuff into inaccessible spaces. That little red flexible tube that comes taped to the iconic can will only get you so far. Even the recent innovation of the Smart Straw, in which the tube was attached to the can on a pivoting head, was only a partial solution.
The company solves the long-standing lack of access with its new . It's the same great multi-purpose lubricant with an attached 8-in. flexible straw that keeps its shape. Now you can bend the straw to spray around curves and corners and deliver the correct amount of the liquid.
In the past, you had two choices. Either you would hose down the area you were trying to reach and hope some of the lubricant made it to where it needed to go, or you had to buy the 1-gallon bulk container and pour the WD-40 into an oil can with a flexible spout. That works fine for factories and institutional users. But for the average homeowner, that would be enough WD-40 to last them the rest of their life and then some.
The EZ-Reach seems like the perfect solution. At about $8 per 14.4-ounce can, it's clearly a cost increase compared to the $5.50 or so that you would normally pay. On the other hand, you'll probably reduce your WD-40 use by a third or more by being more precise with its application. To us, The EZ-Reach version is worth every penny.
