This from around the world is strangely compelling. The list spans locations from the South Pacific to Middle East, while the tanks appear to be from a number of conflicts. Most appear to have been knocked out decades ago, and in some cases, the shot that did in the tank is visible—a small dot on the armor. Some appear to have suffered catastrophic damage, while others were used for target practice.
The image above is of an M4A2 Sherman, likely used by British or Commonwealth forces in Europe during World War II. There are also Japanese tank-ettes from the South Pacific, Red Army T-34/85 tanks dating to World War II, and other tanks that might date to the Arab-Israeli and India-Pakistani wars.
