Nerf's new 70 MPH ball-shooting guns are way pretty serious for toy firearms and after they hit the market, it wasn't long before the modding started. First, we saw the inevitable conversions from semi-auto to full-auto but now there's a new mod designed to keep you shooting basically forever.
, this modified version of Nerf's Rival Zeus MXV-1200 blaster is pretty simple. Instead of just using the stock, swappable ball-tubes, the modified version pulls its ammo from a much, much longer tube with a blower on the end to ensure the balls keep rolling forward and into the chamber.
The reason this gun was designed to hold 108 balls and not less or more is because that's essentially the maximum amount of ammunition you're allowed to have for a single round where Out of Darts plays. So sure, it's not literally unlimited ammo, but for all intents and purposes it means no reloads on the field of play. Just look at this baby go.
Of course, the downside of this rig is that when you do have to reload it takes forever, as . Still, it's an impressive mod and there's no reason progress needs to stop here. I can't wait to see the first backpack-fed 1,000-ball model. Keep working guys.
