If you like keeping your iPad up to date, you may wanna hold off a day or two. The new update seems to be breaking certain types of iPads. 9 to 5 Mac reports that the new iOS 9.3 update is causing a few hiccups with iPad 2s. Per 9 to 5 Mac:
We've been seeing a few reports of the upgrade bricking the , with the devices failing to activate at the end of the update.The specifics reported in an thread, to and via email suggests that it may be nothing more than Apple's activation servers struggling under the load, but some are reporting that their devices have still failed to activate 24+ hours later.
In the meantime, we'd say wait a day or two (always a good idea on any new firmware update) and see what shakes out. Apple has been historically good at fi these problems—you pay a premium for more than just a nice shell—but it's usually wise to let new updates sit for a day or two before throwing them on to you own machine.
